Here's a mood changer. My wife just passed away 2 weeks ago on the 5th. of January. Found out she had a mass on her liver in August. Doctors told us in November that there was nothing they could do but make her comfortable. I have been at home taking care of her since then (and before). That's why I haven't been active lately. We were together almost 20 years and neither of us drank. She was my rock. She was my best friend. Just got back from Ga., was visiting family. Sitting alone in an empty house calling your wife's name when you know she won't answer is heartbreaking. I am lost right now. :(

So sorry to hear this.
You should be with friends and family. Be the man she loves. You were lucky to have found each other on this side. She is still with you.
Take care.

Diggum :
Hang in there.

It's understood being lost without your anchor.
Go forward treasuring your past . And knowing you spent time with the rarest gem of an agreeable woman.
But do keep goin.

I am sorry to hear about Buddy.
Hope you have good friends or family who stay on your side now.

Welcome to the thread Joe.

Of all the knives I do not own , Mora are among them.
Good knives though....
The Garberg I like for being full tang , and for being carbon steel vs stainless. (Not insulting Mora stainless blades , I'm just a fan of old carbon. Mainly for sharpening purposes).

Won't buy a knive without S30V blade. Only one better is S60V. Just sayin.:icon_thumright:

Hoo boy!
For a smaller blade (without going thick on it) , 60 would be alright. A bit hard for using the wrong tool for a pry bar..... And a harder edge takes longer to sharpen when not touched up often enough , depending on what it is being used for.

Nothing less fun than working a chip out of a blade. (I hide certain knives to avoid them getting abused in the kitchen.)

I could live with 30. But actual hardness matters more than an assigned number as a goal...

(Not trying to read like I'm that choosy really:laughing7:.)
