Time to go fishing. Today I'll work on tackle. Got to have everything ready for marlin fishing tomorrow. I'll fish 2 spots tomorrow, the Dutch bar, and another spot called the wide opening. Both spots hold tuna,wahoo,mahi,and marlin both blue and white. This is when my job is best, going after the big blue marlin. My absolute favorite fishing.

Bart... I worked a famous marlin boat in my youth as first mate.

I slept in the bed Marylyn Monroe supposedly slept in

Awesome man !! How did you like that job ?? I dream about treasure, ambergris, and battling giant blues every night. I'm still waiting for that 1000+ pounder to pop up on my baits !! Caught plenty in the 6-800 pound class, but the truly giant ones I've never landed. Lost a giant 15 years ago after being locked in battle for 10 hours. Female angler peed herself rather than give up. Had to hose her down in the fighting chair. Had to take her to the clinic the next day. She was severely sun burned,and bruised and blistered on the back of her legs. One tough woman battling a huge female marlin.

Sheesh I was in my teens when I worked that boat.

in mid to late 80's ? not sure.

I worked on a lot of boats as a kid.

Sheesh I ran an entire marina worth of boats... well the good ones anyway

Was great... lived on million dollar yachts and got to ride out on every run in exchange for help and got paid... ate drank etc.

Loved it.

Yup !! I love it too. Was real tuff missing the bahamas last year. I do miss my wife and kid though. I've spent 4 months hear last time we came.
