Even this thin layers you can put on other wood to fake mahagony is very expensive. Whats the English term for this thin wood layers Bart?

Mike,

You mentioned that your wife had MS which is a debilitating disease as you well know. My family doctor has MS and he's a spokesperson for the cause. Note sure if you saw my post awhile back but Dr Normandin is primarily vegetarian and eats mostly fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and a limited amount of poultry and fish. So mostly what's considered non inflammatory foods to keep his condition in check.

He's a spokesman for the MS society of Canada and this is a talk he gave. Poor sound quality unfortunately.

I'm not certain. But it isn't brass. What else could it be?

Well to me it appears to be gold plated brass.

Rule of thumb with gold items of any larger caliber ... 99.9 percent of the time... but not always... IF gold ... its marked.
