I got stabbed 2 Christmases ago in the left forearm. No worries he did not win; but I did not tell my wife, it was really nothing and it was very important that head after this other person. About a month later I ended up with an infection, no big deal right, shogun of antibiotics and keep working. End of Feb I was hurting pretty bad, thankfully it was all over with.
I went home and my boss called the German liaison to our agency to come and get me and take me to the hospital. Turns out he was right and it was pretty bad.
Me and my brother in law where pretty cool; but he over stepped and told my kids I missed Christmas, my birthday, my wifes birthday and anniversary because I would rather halfass around and chase bad guys whilst being injured. Naturally he did not have the sack to say that in front of his sister or me. But I let it play out, later that summer while we where in Italy he came by for a visit. We headed out late one evening to MD in shallow surf, I drug him further out and made him panic for about 15 minutes.
He was totally fine, just wanted to get my point over without leaving any marks. Figured I would help him find a higher power so he could leave behind his drama queen act he pulled on my kids. He left right away, tried to leave without telling my wife why but I stopped him and made him tell her exactly why. She really was not shocked at my actions, not mad either and told him that he should have been beaten until he felt helpless and weak for scaring our kids, but as long as he got the point.
About a year went by before he came around again. We had already moved back state side. First thing I showed him was a forested area behind my house, there is a little creek there. He saw that creek and started stepping away from me. I was like seriously dude, if I wanted to do something I would have at least tricked you into MDing and bringing your shovel.
He acts really odd around me now.
might have to do a marble post. Got about a half dozen or more scattered around from this year. I know some are cod bottle marbles, but some are like this one.......old. the white strip in the middle of this one is very ornate like lace. It comes from an 1800s site with a legend of lost gold coins. Got a couple more different older type marbles. Time to round em up and see what the marble heads can tell me. This one was so beat up I had to oil it to see that wite lacy looking band in the middle. Red white and blue marble, all american !!
