When you invest in your hobby you should properly. You want a pin pointer then you should get a good one, something you can use under water as well. Using a pin pointer to go snorkelling down a shallow creek or river is great. There is so much under water to be found its not even funny.
Go ask some NASA expert something about space; they will have an answer for nearly everything.
Then go ask State archaeologist about creeks and rivers near you, likely the answer you will get is going to be limited to and not exceeding state budget of their own salary. Meaning worthless answer.
No go ask Billy Bob or Peggy Sue about them same creeks, you going to find out all sorts of stuff that was lost.
just get in with a mask and snorkel in some shallow, skim your way along. You will be able to eye ball more stuff than your MD will do on land.
No, dude, I did not know this crap made it all the way over to Croatia.
Thats cool though, spent lots and lots of time there and the people are not going to fall for it.
I just spent 2 hours getting 3 chimney swift birds out of my chimney through the damper.
Two were easy, I put a large plastic construction bag in the fireplace, shined a light up through the damper, and when the first one flew down into the bag, I carried it outside.
The second one got out of the bag and clung to the vertical rock face of the fireplace. I grabbed it with my hand and carried it outside.
The first two flew off.
The third one took forever to roust from the flue down into the damper. Finally he came down, missed the plastic bag and clung to the metal screen. Slowly moving the screen, that chimney swift took flight around my 16' foot cathedral ceiling, clinging to the highest part at the peak, and it was above where I sit.
Needless to say, he stayed up there for an hour, bombed me, before once again flying about. I finally got him cornered on the curtain rod above the kitchen sink, dropped a blue WINN-DIXIE grocery bag over him, carried him out through the sliding glass door and set him free.
As with the other two, he took flight- FREEBIRD fly!
The Orange one where I don't lose it while metal detecting. Check out this milk bottle i found at a dump i just discovered.
