Black and other colors don´t get harmed! Guess they used a red pigment made out of plants or something. Pigments made out of stones (or oxides) does n´t fade out that way.
I cleaned nearly my entire Stormtrooper Army that way and not one tiny bit of black color has gone or be harmed! You only have to check the process each day, even with only 3% solution. When they are clean, take them out and give them a good wash. As I said to long (for weeks) or on high % like 30% the white will turn pink after a while. A good treatment needs it´s time, so better on low solution and some more days of sunlight or an UV lamp.

Not so bad! I have seen some where the white plastic body turned dark yellow and the rubber limbs was still PERFECT white! Crazy sometimes

Just missing Luke and Leia. I don´t want to collect something with modern replacement Capes, Blasters or light sabers. Only originals. And all good condition figures on the market are graded and put in those sealed boxes which makes them way too expensive. I like them loose. Also I don´t trust this glue they use to fix the acrylic boxes! Absolutely no one knows how and if the thinner in the glue will harm the figures in any way. I mean they are SEALED and the thinner vapor stays inside for a long time!
