Morning.Hey where is Bart ? His last post a few days ago he was getting on a plane

vacation time !!! Woo hoo !! Eating, drinking, boogie boarding with my son, and yes, treasure hunting the 1715 beaches. Been to the del carmen, corrigans wreck, san migel1618, spring of whibey1800s, green cabin wrecks, and some other sites. This is the first time ive picked up my pad since I got here !! Best news of all is that I will be going out with the team from maritime research and recovery, MRR. We will be working the corrigans wreck site blowing holes with the sea reaper or sea intrepid, not sure which ill be on ?? Getting to work with the likes of dan porter, john brandon, and levin shaver will be one of the greatest treasurehunting experiences of my life !!! This will be my first time on the 1715 sites with a professional crew thats legally permitted !! Porter and I will probably stay top deck and run the blowers and tend the divers. There is an outside chance ill be in the water hunting treasure though. Dosent matter where they put me just want to live the dream and be part of the team !!!! I know many many people that have dreamed of just this chance, lm am truly blessed to have such a great opportunity. Hopefully I can prove myself and get involved with there operations on the santa margarita too. ? I have nothing of consequence yet but im trying hard. Ill be over to phipsfolly mikes to see his emerald collection mayde this afternoon. Hes working on another diorama of the 1715 wrecks for the mclarty museum in sebastion. Hey tom,.... porter is the guy who found the chalice !! Guys go and google dan porter or MRR maritime research and recovery, youll be dazzeled with treasure and there discoveries. Woooo hooooo !!! Time for a rum drink and the pool. Waiting for low tide at 630 pm then back treasurehunting

For some reason I keep saying marine research and recovery, its actually maritime research and recovery. This is the first time ive ever had 2 legally permitted treasure operations call me at the same time !! Bronze cannon corp called for mag help this morn, they wanted me to mag this week. I had to tell them I was up here working the 1715 wrecks with MRR. as soon as I get back ill start work magging and drop dives with the bcc crew in the keys. I feel like im on top of the world and I havnt seen the first hint of treasure yet !! Its like ARC says its about the experience and living and fulfilling a life long dream. Being part of the narritive and contributing to the story is enough !! If I ever happen to be part of a large discovery, then wow even better !! Im off now to look for shark teeth, sea glass, and maybe an emerald !!! I also detect too !!! My sis just got back from the museum, she loved it !!! And yes she said there were replica coins for sale there !! She went to the fisher museum, not mclarty.

Heres the guys I'll go out with. Check out there galleries. Theres some good vids too. The olive jar came from our lease in the keys. Dan consults and helps us down there with the search for angel bueno and concepcion.

Pretty sure a few of us do in this thread. I certainly do, but only to metal detect. I stared my diving days in the Army, and we sure as heck where not MDing.

Been a long while for me... Did a lot more diving in my youth by far.

Last time for me was a long gig of volunteering at a park cleaning it up... other than that I have been pretty dry since.

Spend more time ON the water than in it. heh
