So here's the situation, the meat and potatoes first.

I ordered an EQ 800 on 9 March.
Invoice was received in email and a pending charge was on my account that day. So I waited and never called to get an idea of when it would arrive until one day...it just arrived. That was 22 May. I was never charged.

So, I let it go because one day just turned into another figuring it would hit my account any moment. Well weeks went by (obviously) and totally forgot about it.

So today I made a phone call to the dealer..

(was bought from a small business because I like to support my fellow Americans more than big box stores)

Now I try to do what is right, I could not be charged without my 3 digit security number on the debit card, or I could have canceled it and got a new one...I knew this.... But....he needs to run his business and feed a family possibly. Anyway, I have never asked for handouts and I didn't today. I just thought maybe he would offer me a deal on a future detector or knock a few bucks off the top for being honest. Well it didn't happen and it's not like I could be totally disappointed because in the end I payed what was owed.

One time a guy brought my wallet to my house with the money in it....I gave him the money inside...all of it...maybe around 40 bucks.

Hopefully in the future maybe it will benefit me when I'm on the market for my new SCUBA DETECTOR and I explain to him who I am. He should remember me....I hope.

Well first off I like your honesty. I've found that one of the most important things in life is to be able to look yourself in the mirror and not be ashamed of your behavior towards others.

Part 2 paying it forward or karma usually comes back to bless you when you do what is right. Maybe not now but at some time in the future.
