Not bad for just August. Would have been a lot more if the weather cooperated.

In my opinion there is a ton or more of Spanish Gold at Douglas Beach, but the sand is deep and without adequate blower power it will be difficult to reach to the bottom of a glory hole.

I would suggest that at the time of the sinking of the 1715 fleet the shoreline was appx. 9 tenths mile farther East of the present Douglas Park shoreline. The ship sank about 1 mile from the present shoreline. Survivors buried the bulk of the Treasure on what was then land extending from the old shoreline West to hwy A1A. A portion of which is now covered by water, and 15-20 feet of sand. Dell

**********Dell may I suggest you start your own "New" thread about the Douglas beach area and let us, let Booty Salvage continue to show us his finds.
Thanks. Look like you have some interesting info.
Regards,
Moderation

I get your attitude. We certainly wouldn't want anyone to see what I posted on an open forum viewed by a lot of people. The moderator has already deleted my second post and I have deleted my first post. My apologies to Booty Salvage. Dell

You guys are what makes what we do possible. If no one cared I would be able to spend my life doing this. Any questions about Douglas I am happy to answer in my PM box.

Dell, I read what you said and there is more than enough for a new thread. There may be more buried on the beach then left in the water.
