Found these over the weekend. Was happy to find the hopewellish point. The scraper/celt in the middle is worn or ground. I wish I had the rest of the point on the right. Thanks for looking! Keith.

I dug these out of a small ravine running off a field. It is littered with flint chips and pottery. Its the same spot I dug the discoidal pieces. Thanks for the reply!

Do you think the pieces are there in the ravine as a result of run off or was the ravine an actual usage area? In some of the shelters that I've dug, there seems to be one area that holds the brokes and more debitage than normal, like a trash pit/pile? Your discoidal wasn't plow/disk broken was it?

It could be a small trash/midden Your right the discoidal has no plow marks on it. I find quite a few cores also. I will take a pic and post it. Thanks 1320.

No telling what else might be there! The trash midden can tell us alot about the site if we read it properly...now, I gotta bone up on the reading part. A photo would be awesome
