Relic kind of day

Hi all. Chris and I decided to venture north again in search of some permissions. We met some very nice people and talked with an old friend of Chris's that was good enough to let us hunt on his old property again. Today was coin day for Chris and relics for me. Nothing really old but a couple cool finds for me ~ my first watch winder and the face of an old padlock that still has it's hole cover. Chris kept saying he felt bad because I didn't find any coins older than wheats, but hey, as Brad and Mr. Knopfler says " Somedays you're the bug, Somedays you're the windshield ". Thanks for looking.

Well, ya know how it is with them old ATP's. All they're good for is relics. Need a real machine to find those coins. LOL

Oh no, I've found PLENTY of coins with the atp, all about being in the right place at the right time, that's all

Yep. You have a knack Chris. It's definitely not just the machine. The operator has as much to do with it too. Will is going to be a little envious when he sees what was under your coil today. 2 out of 3 places, lol.

Ps...kick the kids off Xbox and the wife off EBay and it will load faster, lol.

I was definitely envious. I have no problem finding them old silver coins, indianheads, shields, and V's. But those LC's have been eluding me for years. Working on finding the right spot.

Not sure if it was a pocket watch or an old stopwatch. It looks like the top would push down instead of twist to wind. Not sure either if the green is patina or it was colored green at one time. No visible markings on it unfortunately.

Anytime you're able to hunt an old property, you never know what might turn up.
