Rifle Hammer?

At least it looks similar to a hammer to me. The only mark I can find is the 2 I circled in the third picture. i had found a toy pistol frame and loading gate about 15 feet away, but this makes the pistol frame look tiny. As always, any help is appreciated. Thanks.
