As a 2Lt, 1Lt and Captain, I used to inspect The Barracks! (Backs away slowly- as there are no other Officers posting on this board!)

Most of the other officers are laying low. Uncle Sam's reactivating some of your ranks no matter what the age. I met a 55 yo female Col. the other day who got reactivated outta the blue cause she still owed time. Better check those DD214s everyone. ;D :D

Thats right Col, Uncle Sam can get you whenever he wants ya, hahahahaha....

Robin here.....

Sergeant First Class, US Army Combat Engineer, Retired.

Twenty years.... all "in the line".

The "CaptainRobin" refers to the fact I'm a USCG licensed captain, and I pilot a shrimp boat, time-to-time.

I've been an E-1 through E-6 and 01E though 03 in the Army, NG, and the reserves with too many MOS/branches to mention. Served overseas in many places though not much in the U.S. (except for training). In fact my user name comes from the days when I was a young lieutenant who didnt seem to get along well with a certain CO who liked to call me "that rebel LT". I thank all of you people who stuck with it. I got a little tired of being deployed after "the cold war" ended and decided to see my family once and a while. I guess my ex decided this was not a good deal so she split. I'm a much happier man today as a result ;D

Nothing wrong with a rebel LT, they will let you take care of your men better....
