Retired as TSgt. The C-130 is the best aircraft ever made. Sweet to work on & sweet to fly on. Anyone who is active duty working around jet engines be sure to ALLWAYS use your hearing protection. Was once asked by a liberal what I felt when I shot someone. I told her a little "nudge" against my shoulder.
 

AZ. I have a son that was Army SF. He's retired now. He was an adviser in El Salvador in the 80s. He didn't like it there very much. But he did like the SF. Sonny

Tossed boats out the back of CH-53 helicopters or C130s and then chased after it :wink:
Saw how close they could get to ground surfaces before chute deployment :wink:
