Wow, a great find Silverfinder.
I dont mean to hijack your post but I collected almost a whole book of halves from a Publix cashier I knew back in the eighties. She saved them for me as people spent them. She seemed to want to get rid of these unusual 50 cent coins.
It makes you wonder who would spend them, and I always wonder who would not want to keep them?
