It was a warm, sunny day Saturday and I drove around looking for a site that was not covered with snow. After about 30 miles of driving, I found a site I where I found a 1784 half real last year that was bare. The farmer said he was surprised I didn't show up with a film crew.... I got the joke, they had filmed and episode of "Diggers" a couple miles down the road. First 10 minutes in the field I got a perfect 78 on the F-75 and I had "roundness" in the hole which turned out to be a toasted Draped Bust large cent. Next signal turns out to be a linked set of plain faced oval cufflinks.
Well I'm thinking this is gonna be a good day, and then the finds stopped
The next two hours produced a 1910 penny and that was it.
