Saturday & a lady silver

I was able to get out for a few hours putting my golf clubs aside & hit an old house set for demolition for commercial zoning. I turned the machine on & 4 swings later, I came up with a 1918-D mercury dime. With that start I was expecting a multiple find day, but was just able to dig up 2 wheat's 1935 & 1944. This happened to me 3 weeks ago, finding silver on my first coin, & getting shut out the rest of the day, Oh well, I'm not complaining, you just get your hopes that theres plenty more their & there's no more to be found.

My bad, South Jersey Don, Hollowpointedred was right on. I checked with the 'Red Book' and it is Liberty with little wings on her head. I am sorry, please don't have me "wacked"!

They say it's a "representation of Liberty". "The wings crowning her cap are intended to symbolize the liberty of thought" (Red Book).

Got to love this hobby! I learn something new every day.
