Saturday's Silver Road Trip
There is nothing better than getting out to hunt with friends and in this hobby you will meet several if you
This morning I got out for a short road trip with a couple of good hunting buddies. we didn't find much of nothing (Found one Wheat) at our first location so we switched spots around 11 or so.
After a bathroom break, we hit our 2nd spot all warmed up, and we got to digging. I was using a deep pattern and hit on something around 8 inches, with nice numbers like 9-46, 8-48 from both directions. dug up the plug and saw some nice sized Silver all caked with black dirt. called one of my hunting buddies over to check it out.
As I pulled the dirt away, SLQ's were dancing in my head, but in the end, it was a sweet 1943 "S" Washington.....even though the finds were slim, we all had a good time out and we even scored an Onion Burger on the way home, Thanks for looking, looknforgold, HH.
And, as always, my finds are protected with a CoinTOTE in the Field.
