Today the Se gave me another look at what it can do...it got the usual clad...pinpointing was perfect and the ground was soft. Got a 26 and 58-d wheatie, and a 35 merc that was so deep the flat metal handle part of the Lesche was inside the ground! :o Damn I am gonna love this machine! Here we go...fired up...fired up...yes...this machine is what I have heard...2nd silver for it in just a few hunts......... :sunny:

That SE sounds like a keeper! Super finds, Gregg! Congrats!

Nana :)

Nice finds Gregg,

Looks like your getting the hang of your new unit.

Good Luck

Nice job. There's gonna' be more silver in your future hunts. Hit your old favorite parks...and I bet you see some shiny stuff in the hole this go around. The more time you spend on the SE...the more rewarding the hunts will be.

Good on you.

That was when I knew I'd bought a good detector: My Lesche was bottoming out on the guard and I had to dig bigger holes.

(Check out the "Tool Talk" section for deeper hand diggers :tongue3: )

WTG Gregg, it's going to be another good year for you.

Cool finds Greg.... I'm a little surprised about the pin pointing being good :icon_scratch: a lot of the guys in the UK say that the pin pointing on the Minelabs are not very good :'( and I must admit when I have seen them in use the holes dug tend to be very wide :-\ but you must have conquered these problems

Hello Gregg!
Good to see you and Ms SE are doing just fine! Don't give up on the DFX as I think it's better on nickels!

I took mine (SE) out today and, though the hunting was tough did managed to pull a 1961 D Rosie from the ground alone with the usual clads.

Congrats on your bonding, :)
