I've been saying on here for years. Why do all these critics on here watch the show to start with. I don't like the Simpsons, so I don't watch the Simpsons. I by no means go to the Cartoon forums just to rip the show apart. I have MUCH better things to do...

Because its the best fictional comedy on the air right now.............

Because this is a treasure hunting site, and we have some real treasure hunters here.
Oak Island is suppose to be a treasure hunting show and we tune in to see treasure found ...not outlandish ideas,Templars, all the way to Shakespeare.... and every lame excuse why they have found none.
We see that it`s bull because nothing has been found... and a couple "on here" see it as truth and try to uphold all these sophomoric ideas, and we call bull.
Now if you were writing cartoons you would have a point and should be on the cartoon forum.

How long has that technique been used and do you think they were using it on Oak Island back in the mid to late 60's....

If this question is for me, then driving sheeting to brace against soil pressures has been around for a long time. In fact, the material they used back then was sturdier than what's used today. The sheet piles applied today can be cut through easier.

Cutting through their sheet metal isn't the hard part.

It's a major problem cutting through the fog of BS, that makes the show a major flop, hooking followers on bullish wanderings on Crown around an island....

To answer your question, I'm a Civil Engineer and love watching the crew perform all these digs even if they just pull out dirt and old wood. I thought that finding the buried bones from the 17th and 18th centuries was also very interesting. I actually get a kick out of seeing the hammer grab pull out wood from an 80 year old search shaft. It's pretty cool. However, what I don't like is them force feeding us the Templar connection where none exists. I also hate it when I see shenanigans being applied with this obviously planted cross that no one wants to get tested. It's a similar experience I had watching Storage Wars. At first I thought it was cool seeing these people finding unique and valuable items in someone's old storage unit, until I found out that many of these items were planted by the crew.

I didn't get to read the entire thread yet, but has it been considered that the shape of that cross is an ankh?

Especially the ones that continue to be created like Petter Amundsen and those that promote similar nonsense, Eldo. :laughing7:

Go to Amazon, They have a show about Petter Amundsen about an hour and a half. Surely you can spare that much time before you get on forums putting a great man down, an intelligent man, a man that has did the world a service by his brilliance. I do not understand you naysayers. I know for a fact Petter Admundsen's work is legit and it follows every source of Sir Francis Bacon's Codes and other code makers of the early 1600's. If you can not say anything good about someone please do not say anything at all as it slanderous when you do not know what you are talking about.

Actually they can say what they want on a open forum about a certain topic. You forget everyone is entitled to their own opinion? Since this isn’t a political forum I’m not gonna mention the vast amount of people talking trash about certain political people or anyone else because I don’t care that’s their opinion of that person.

... I know for a fact Petter Admundsen's work is legit ...
HOW?
Every legitimate Shakespeare scholar and academic has dismissed his "code theory" as unfounded.
"There is no substance to the theory and that scholars could not take it seriously"
"Petter Amundsen...is practicing a falsification of history"-Inger Merete Hobbelstad

If you do not like his work leave it alone but do not put the man down for putting his research out there for others. I can see where his work is based on sound deciphers by the experts of the early 1600's. If you can not see the sound research and findings, then just maybe, G.A.P. Metal, your research is flawed.

No.....ECS is correct.....those fairy tales are just that, fiction. Throughout history folks have made careers out of attempting to gain relevance, fame, and money by perpetuating story tales about things that do not exist. Plus I doubt a constantly inebriated Shakespeare had time to invent secret codes while chasing tail all the time...

I am sorry but I do not see what you do. I see a very intelligent man and he layed his case out the best that anyone could. Sorry you feel that way but I know he did it correctly.

How do you know Petter Amundsen "did it correctly" when the professional academic and scholar experts in their related fields do not take his work seriously?
