it was a bust. I am in the market for a new detector. the wet sand just reeked havoc with the Bounty Hunter. No amt. of turning the sensitvity or discrimination came close to fixing the wet sand problem.
my haul: a whopping 52 cents in clad, tons of bottle tops and I hit a spill....buried Bud Light cans. by the thousands it seemed
I got the feeling the SHTC club was partying on the beach before I detected, hmm...think so
I saw the LONG walk for over 3 hrs. the best part of the whole experience
but truly, that was a clean beach. I had few hits. drove me insane to have a silent detector most of the hunt.
yes, I do that stance very well.
Casper gave me good info on detectors for water detecting. I am truly thinking of getting something like that. I would love to go into the water a bit and find things the 'hobby' detector wouldn't try. I might have to sell the truck to buy the detector.
