I think your net grade will knock you down but a good find all the same!

from what I can see it looks to be in extra fine condition, but since it was dug you more then likely will have to drop the grade to a fine or very fine ..those prices are 220 or 320.00

If it cleans up ok it should have some decent value seeing what the Ebay ones have gone for. $178 and the coin was sad.

Great find! My most valuable IH was a crusty 1870. :'(

Cheers,

Buck

Nice one Merf! I see no problem with getting at least $200 for that coin buddy! Good Snag!! :headbang:

WOW! Nice find! I'd love to find one of them better date Indians! My oldest so far is a 1880 ~ but I do have one 1908-S!

8^)

It would grade probably AU50 Details: Corroded if you sent it to NGC to grading

Well worth the trip out Merf....Should clean up nice,Congrat's :icon_thumright:

Thanks to all for the replies and kind words. :hello:

As an undamaged (read: undug) piece, it would be worth the money.

As is?

Tough question, I have an 1868 in similar condition.

no takers, yet.
