Hunted on the property that I grew up on. It was a one room school in early 1900's
Hit it hard threw the summer with me on the AT Pro and my wife on the Duck. Found lots of wheats and relics including a Pedometer that was mine in the early 70's. Last week decided to take the Eurotek and give a few swings found a 1947 Rosie and wheats and tabs.
Today hitting 40 degrees decided to hit it again with the ETP and found a 1941 quarter and a few toasted wheats. Plus a small tin that is marked Gentsa or close to it. Going to post it in What is it? Hopefully someone have an Idea

Nice finds. Congrats on that washington.

Neat little tin. I can't find anything to ID it.

Maybe you will find some more of your earlier days! Nice silver!

Nice finds and welcome to the forum...

Always love silver quarters! That little tin looks to be a make up compact from the 20's-30's.

Great finds looks like that one room is still teaching so I guess school isn't out yet.HH

Posted the small tin in What is It? and it was identified. http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/what/442387-small-tin.html
It was a Rouge makeup tin from around the 1920's. I found it were the playground would have been. Only can imagine the teacher was watching the kids and lost it.
30 cents would have been a lot of money in those days.
Thanks for posts

Nice finds. Congrats on the silver. I have found several rouge tins over the last year. I always imagine that there are a couple of Mercs inside the tin! GL&HH.
