Hi Hunters, I need your input, some hunters aren't familar with the grading system. I would very much appreciate if probably the more experienced collectors would show their G10's.
This is my G8, I graded it this because its a common type,also it as a rather large percussion mark on it.
I've not seen this topic addressed so, show us those exquisit Points PLEASE !!!

Lostlake & Steve I'm so glad you guys posted, I knew when the serious collectors posted, we were all in for a treat. (I'm ashamed to post my Rhyolite any more lol.)

Alls I can say is FANTASTIC, I can't & won't pick any out, because they are ALL excellent AUTHENTIC ( a word I'll be using repeatedly from now on) artifacts..

I hope the new collectors who have recently come onboard enjoy this Thread as much has I am.

What grade would my post above be? Does it look broken off of the shoulders or is it whole? I think it would be an amazing coincidence if it broke perfectly straight across, but I am not an expert by any means. Thanks...Ryan

Ryan, I'm not an expert on points, I posted this Thread, so the experienced collectors would show their best finds..
I'm not really in a possition to grade anyones points. It takes skill,experience to do so.
Maybe if you started your own post, ppl might help you to ID your pretty triangle. Its a beauty for sure, outstanding material.

I have avoided participating in this topic because I am not sure that in my 12 years of relic hunting that I have ever picked up a G10 point. I will post my 8's or so. Maybe someday I will find my pefect 10. Everyone has posted some super relics. Once again great show!!

I just thought this Thread would be educational to collectors not knowing about the grading system.
I have enjoyed seeing such fantastic points/knives. Its always great when you long time collectors get those G10's out.

Twig those are beauties, fine examples, especially the first blade, excellent.

Thanks Molly. I was given a large amount of artifacts and weapons from my father about ten years ago. He was given them as a teeneager by a family friend when he lived in England. I don't have much exact info on that blade, other than it came from The Welcome Collection, as did the other artifacts. My father told me it is Egyptian, predynastic. If you look at the base, it still has pitch on it.

that shared their best finds !! all different shapes,sizes,colors all beautiful works of art
and all used for "survival"........food, clothing, and travel etc. truely amazing
