Fish n' chips, chowder, hot sour dough bread and cold Anchor Steam(especially on tap). There's something good about San Francisco after all.....

24 in Greeley Hill this am when we started beeping, ground was froze solid.

Yesterday, NF Yuba frozen ground to about 3" depth, lots of ice on the cobbles very slippery, water in pan froze within minutes, not safe to go alone

My lower claim isn't far from the Yuba. It's at 2800 feet. Were you higher or lower than that?

I'm sooo sorry about flakin out on you guys last year. I had a S...storm of bad luck and it really messed up my 2014. I'm going to make good on it.

both my claims have frozen ground my lower claim elev, approx 3000 feet lots of frost on surface,
upper claim were i was at the other day, felt like concrete when swingin the pick Elev about 4000 feet
all surface rocks frozen to the ground had to use my gad bar, and pick to break up, when i was done, cleaned out the sluice box and
the time it took to pan the cons the carpet was a bit frozen, called it a day, if ya can find a place in the sun you might get lucky
