Started the day at a school in Ohio using the Ace 250 and was having a good time, popping out quarters, dimes and pennies, and no nickels, but did get the gold ring and my second Prez Dollar. When I was done went to the soccor field and dug a few more quarters, dimes nickels and pennies. On the way home hit the Park by my house and dug the 1912 Wheat and 1907 Barber which I ric'ed! Totals for the day:

1 Prez Dollar
12 quarters
11 Dimes
1 Barber Dime
4 Nickels
19 memorial Cents
1 wheat
1 gold ring(2nd of the year)

Hey Randy...

a few years ago there was a freind who detected and his name was Ric. Well, he had a bad habit of scratching the coins, and some were high dollar coins and when someone started scratchging coins we'd say I "ric'ed" the coin. Even now years later on a couple other detecting sites other detectorists still say they "ric'ed" the coin. I'm so used to saying it I don't even know until I read what I've posted! He was a VERY good hunter and he did finally stop scratching coins, but the phrase just stuck!!

Definately a great day for you. The ring looks nice, but it is a bit out of focus. Could you do a close up of the ring ?

Lot of great stuff there.
