Received the new RACER in the mail yesterday, so I got away for a hour today just to check it out and see how it is..
Still not sure about it, need more time to play with it..It does have a fast recovery speed. The more i know I'll let you know.
Anyway found this half dollar about 6inch down. A really stong signal, as it should be..lol

Ps also found the middle part to a colonial shoe buckle the other day, not with the racer...lol

Man George, that's about 200 years too new for your liking so I bet you threw it back. If nothing else, it must have given you quite a rush when you saw that big silver showing through that black dirt. All kidding aside, a coin like that is always a great find - WTG!

Knowing George after he took the pictures he probably tossed that half in the bed of his truck with his collection of Indian head pennies and large cents. Here, that is a really superb gem to be worshipped and praised. Up there it's new silver. New or old the condition is exceptional! Nice find.
