Silver crossed $60/oz today and it’s now just a few cents away from hitting $61/oz. It's gonna be a wild ride!

Im set on gold but very little silver. So I need to get my Azz out at the beginning of the year and dig more, more and more..

What about everyone else?
I'm set on Silver, have some Gold but need to get out and get more.

BTW, when Gold hits $10K, $15K and up, you'll be my very best friend. 😁

Woah now... your reaching on those numbers... anything is possible of course... but probable is another thing altogether.
I know some on YouTube claim this is possible... but heck... who knows.

Just leaning back absorbing what i have unleashed on this thread... sorta taking it all in.

I will express my opinion based on facts...
Silver IS still below what I feel it should be normally.
I have always felt that silver was way undervalued and suppressed by the powers that be.
It seems that those powers that be have lost their grip on the suppression.

Like a spring that has been held down all these years... manipulated to be lower than it should for financial reasons from higher ups and beyond the influence of the people.

That spring has been greased... and the grip has been loosened to the point of loss of control.
That spring is about to be sprung ... possibly to never be recoiled again.

SO... with that said... it is in my opinion that silver... is going to exactly where it should be in price... whatever that number in the end shall be.
ARC, as usual, you are totally correct, very glad to have you on my thread as we both have been pretty much saying the same thing. But for many people, hearing the same thing from a couple guys is more impactful than just hearing it from 1. The powers that be who have been suppressing the value of Silver all seem to have taken short positions and/or they've been the ones issuing EFT's and Paper Silver. They need to keep the price of silver low so that the investors who purchased their paper Silver don't all come running to request physical Silver at the same time. It's kinda like if everyone who had a savings account at a local bank all went in on the same day to withdraw all their money. The bank can't do it, don't have all that money in cash.

They can't accommodate that volume of physical Silver, so their a** would be grass. They've also been losing so much $ with their short positions that eventually, they would no longer have the $ resources needed to keep artificially manipulating the market. BOA for instance has been losing $800M every time Silver rises just $1, so in the last month, they've lost Billions and Billions. Like you said, I too think they have reached a point of loss of control and now Silver is really taking off, up $2 today so far, I think it was up $2 yesterday as well. So, in the past, where we might have seen daily up swings counted in cents, the up swings now seem to be moving up in dollars almost every day. Exciting times.

Only time will tell, will be interesting to look back this same time next year to see what all went down. But I've heard many in the Gold/Silver market talk about Gold hitting $10K, and even up to $15K. Just threw that in to let OBN know if that happens, I'd be his best friend, lol.

Well gold just went up another 26... just passed 4500.
It hit $4,500 yesterday, but is doing the typical up & down dance. I see this happen with each of the metals, but once it hits a new threshold, it may drop back down a bit but always seems to work its way back up to that threshold, and continues to climb from there. But it was just a week or two ago that Gold seemed to be stuck in the $4,200's for about 1-2 weeks while Silver was continuing to climb, so glad to see it break out of the $4,200's and continue rising. $5K not too far away.

Platinum is getting real close to hitting $2,400 and Palladium's knocking on the door of $2K. Platinum & Palladium don't get talked about much if at all, but they've been increasing at a crazy pace. In just the last month alone, Platinum is up over $800 oz and Palladium is up over $500 oz. That's crazy for just the last 30 days.

So a bid of 2,030 would win that huh. :P
It went to $2075.
Just testing the waters.
The Austrian is still at the current price.
Coins are a hit/miss as there's the collectors buying also.

For those who want to know a little more of WHY silver and gold and other metals are doing what they are doing...
This video will help you understand SOME of it...

ARC,
I did; and what I liked best was one guru saying $6,600 was the next pause point for gold.
I also liked hearing the 'shorts are getting squeezed'' and now covering their positions by buying-adding to demand for gold.

So, is there a reasonable chance silver will go to 2-3 hundred?
A good chance yes.
Without some sort of act of who knows what.
I can vision a high of 47:1 ratio in the near future, which is realistic.

Historical Periods & Ratios
  • Ancient Civilizations (2500+ years ago): Ratios were often 10:1 to 13.5:1, influenced by local mine proximity.
  • Roman Empire: Government fixed the ratio at 12:1.
  • U.S. Coinage Acts: Set the ratio at 15:1 (1792) and later 16:1 (1834).
  • 20th Century: Averaged around 47:1.
  • Late 20th Century (1990s): Reached peaks near 98:1 or higher.
  • 21st Century: Generally between 50:1 and 80:1, with extremes like ~35:1 (2011) and ~125:1 (2020).

If the gold-to-silver ratio were at the historical 20th-century average of
47:1, the price of silver would be approximately $95.64 per ounce based on the gold spot price of $4,495.19 as of December 24,

If the gold to silver ratio was the historically stable
16:1, the price of silver would be approximately $280.95 per ounce, based on the current gold spot price of $4,495.19 as of December 24, 2025.

Near ? as in how near ?
It is currently 64 to 1 now.

Remember ... the TRUE silver to gold ratio is 14-1.
