2 musket balls,a lead bead type thing and 2 silver coins.1 coin is dated 1717 and i believe its a George 11 sixpence. The other silver coin is very thin and badly worn.I was told it resembled a lizzie silver penny but im unable to confirm this.
thanks for looking.

Wow!!! Great finds. I'd love to find something in the 1700s. Too old for my state.

Sweet. Certainly captured some age there.

congrats! that would make my day.

Hi,
Home made lead weight for Looms. Keeps the threads tight. Definately not a fishing weight.

Can I see pictures of the reverse of both coins & I could help with the Lizzy question.

1717 Sixpence (£65 Fine) - I would be well happy, I collect sixpences & its a date I need. I buy most of mine & rarely get one that early. EXCELLENT FIND ;D

I always feel that if a come away with 1 silver, what ever age - then its been a GOOD day! (2 a bonus :))

i wonder if there was ever any argument over what denomination a worn coin was.....no thats a dollar not a nickel
