I posted this thread the other day but it wouldnt let me post pics .. I need help identifying the model of this smith & Wesson revolver.. any help would be appreciated..thanks

Smith & Wesson model 1, second issue, made between 1860 & 1868.

It’s an early one, post civil war model 1 or 2 but I’m no expert...someone will nail it. If the serial number was a little clearer or you can post it that will help.

It is a s&w model no1 second issue like BAW stated.View attachment 1921613
