So you dont believe in dowsing, eh!

If Wishbone really wants to build up a belief system that includes dowsing then he should go into this with an open mind and not only check the areas that the dowsers have identified but also some of those that weren't. Then compare the results. If he is finding more gold in places that the dowsers didn't identify then he can confidently say that these particular dowsing results were off base. If his finds are consistent with the dowser's results then it adds some level of credibility to those results, but only to the extent that he is willing to also accept the possibility that dowsing may have not had anything at all to do with where those locations were chosen. If an average prospector would have looked at the same map and chosen the same positions without using dowsing then we can't say that dowsing is 100% responsible for the results.
Yes he should after he gets all the gold from the places that have been marked....Why move away from a place where you are making money?....Art

Hi everybody, I just got home from work.
I'm sorry if I offended anyone, my intent wasn't to provoke or irritate or anything. I amazed at what a ruckus I've caused.
I guess if we could "unpost" then this would be the time...lol. So please don't be bitter, I meant no harm.
I guess this is not the time to ask your opinion about gold and infrared photography is it...lol.
Take care.

the people whom do not believe in it can ever find what they search for .
I didn't believe until a friend of my father witched our well in the 70s . The exact spot and depth . But it wasn't till I visited Salam mass in 2010 and came across a shop there ( called the hex shop ) when I entered this shop it for some mysterious reason made me remember that friend of the family that witched our well .
As I walked around the store it was as if something magnetic kept bringing me back by the dowsing rods and the pendulums.
The pendulums had one that stood out as none other .
I purchased both rods and pendulum . And a book to understand them .
If one can bond with them ( feel them as an extinction of their selves ) will be able to use and understand them .
If you have no open mind you will not be able to use them nor be able to use the powers for your self . Even if some one gives you all the answers you ask of .

Thank you jair
. Your welcome . Sorry to say that not every one can enjoy the feeling that is felt when you compleat you search and confirm that an object or other is where you sought it to be .
Never give up .

I just made my first set of dowsing rods jair, I was practicing some exercises Art showed me, but the yard belongs to a mechanic friend of mine. Between the power lines, underground pipes and a thousand dropped or scrapped stock car parts, my poor #14 copper wire rods didn't no where NOT to point...lol. And can you believe this, I talk to my rods! I've threatened to switch to heavier brass rods if they don't stop pointing to every little energy that suits their fancy.
I think dowsing is normal if you were crazy to begin with :)
Gotta go to the main forum now, I believe the status quo hasn't been challenged today. Kidding of course.

Jon, yup that's right: The dowsing gets you close to the spot, and then you bring out a metal detector to "pinpoint" it. Right? So you tell me, if you wave your coat hanger at enough likely looking ruins, and then pull out your detector to "pinpoint", is it any surprise that .... gasp ... metal is there? I can probably take my metal detector to ANYWHERE and find metal. Especially if I'm at likely spots where human activity occured, to begin with.
That's awesome that you can take your detector anywhere and have success. I can use my dowsing instruments virtually anywhere as well regardless if it's a "likely" location or not and make contact with silver, gold, ect. faster and from distances that far exceed any metal detector. You have your methods that work for you and I have my methods that work for me. The bottom line and the point I'm making is that we all have to dig up/recover what our instruments or machines are indicating to us for the proof of whatever method got us there to begin with.Jon
