Yesterday, I decided to get up bright and early to hit the beach where a local restaurant holds its annual 3rd of July celebration. I am not sure why, but this place always hold their festivities on the 3rd instead of the 4th. Must be that they know holding it one day early will draw a crowd. From past experience, I knew that there would be tons of people gathering on the beach to watch the fireworks. I was up at 5:30 am and on the beach by sun up. To my surprise I was the only MD'er out there. I was really hoping to find some gold or silver, but even though I didn't find any, I wasn't disappointed. Ended up coming back with $1.36 in clad, and a cool little police car. ;D The small tennis ball and little play gun were both visual finds, just lying on the beach. I thought it was pretty funny that I found the police car, and then the gun not far from one another....

Overall, I didn't think it was a bad take for 2 hours of swinging. Thanks for looking.

Happy Hunting!

Ken

Pretty cool and good, sound logic. I like the way you think, Ken.

Thanks for sharing.

Take all the beer caps and nail them to your front porch, and you will have a first class redneck mud scraper for your boots. Cool finds!

Wow, I didn't know that Meijer's had stations in Florida! I thought they were just in Michigan and Ohio. Live & learn I guess.

Thanks for all the replies folks.....

I don't think they do. I have never seen one done here. I think it might have made the trip done south.

BL must be The most popular beer in the USA.
Well, I must say that is my beer, but unfortunately they aren't my caps... ;)

Thanks again for the comments.....

HH!

I mused about brewers and that BL must be The most popular beer in the USA.
It likely is, but I'll take a Yuengling any day. From the oldest brewery in America, it has REAL beer flavor at BL prices.

Ha! Shameless plug!!
