Problem is it is has a 1969 date. The edge is even pre-nicked to appear to show no copper.

I found this quarter looks exactly like a 1964 quarter except it is dated 1969.
It is not a silver proof.
It does not sound like a silver coin.
It does have a good size notch in the edge that would appear to indicate to someone looking at it that it does not have a copper core.
It is however a fake silver quarter. It may be plated with actual silver I am not sure but it is not a 90% silver quarter. Someone did go to a good bit of trouble to get someone to believe it was silver
