Clean it up and look for the word "copy"

The one I found is clean and like new, doesn't say copy on it anywhere.

So I’ve got a couple of those fake (bad fakes) gold colored Spanish Escudo coins from when I bought new detectors, and carry one with me in my pouch. I’ve often thought about tossing one in one of my plugs before closing it up but just can’t bring myself to do it. Nope...
