Okay guys and gals, this is what you've all been waiting to hear. I finaly got a sound bite of the Bone Whistle and my son loaded it to YouTube. Make sure to turn your sound up real loud and you can hear it and don't make fun of the guy with the crooked glasses. lol

Well, I don't know what it was used for but I can tell you it's key is C.
Generals gathered in their masses.

Not that it matters. I wouldn't part with no matter what the price. buying one just isn't the same.

Well I was going to offer you 5 dollars for it but since your so keen on it I suppose that's out. :icon_scratch: Yup buying one would definately not be the same.

Yeah, you're probably right Targe.

Here's some pictures of some other Bone Flutes and Whistles I have.

The one in the first two pictures was bought at the auction of an old time collector from my area. He was 93 years old when he died and he had collected since he was a kid. I had seen his collection a few times since he lived right down the alley from where my father worked and I knew it was a personal find of his. It doesn't blow very well and I think it was unfinished and need one more hole.

The third picture shows three pieces of Flutes in the upper right hand corner. Two are back to back and one by itself. The one by itself even though it's broken whistles very loudly.

The last one is at the very bottom of this tray in the center. It is just a piece of bone that has had a notch cut into it, but it is definitely a Whistle since it whistles very well.
