Got the Sov GT that I bought on here from Poppa on wed. Heading for Daytona Beach tomorrow. Can anyone recommend what settings are best for the beach with this machine? It has the 10" coil.

Set it just like excal....


Desc switch on.

Track in "fix" position

Set to descriminate.

No descrimination or notching.

Sensitivity as hot as you can set without falsing.

Threshold so it sounds like mosquito in your ear.



Another nice feature is si lo entry search. Set it as above then turn on silent search, any target that would break threshold still will, but you don't have to listen to threshold.


We will NOT go quitely into the night!
