I got this at a Church sale today . I was thinking it might be a tongue depressor ?- The misses thinks it's a bookmark ?

It is 8 inches long & 1 1/8 inches wide . kinda thick , weighs 52 grams .

I guess HEM is a monogram of somebodies initials .

I would definitely say sterling silver monogrammed bookmark. Congrats to the Misses.
The one they show online today is plain and goes for $60.00 and is only 6" x 1"

Perhaps you could contact them for an appraisal and positive ID.
