Well at least u found some silver in the nickel box. Our results r very similar with nickels so far this year. I've searched $580 and found 6 silver and 4 buffalo but I haven't found any nice condition buffalos yet this year like the ones you've been finding. I keep the off center strikes too and have some similar to the ones u found. I don't even know, are the ones like u found worth much or anything?

Good luck with your next boxes....hope u can end your half box skunk streak soon.

Hey that coin is from me!! It was marked and released in December, 2012, so I am sure it has been through a handful of crh'ers before it got to ya. My 4 half dollar boxes were junk this week too, I sure hope the silver starts flowing soon for both of us!

Seems like a lot of people r finding BuffaloBoy coins lately lol. I think I found one marked Beth in dark ink my last box with some writing on the other side I couldn't read. But maybe I'll find a BuffaloBoy coin sometime soon too lol.

Steve, you have been killing me this year. Ive been through over 80 boxes of halves this year and found a total of 10 silver halves. 40+ boxes of nickels yeilded nearly an entire roll of wars, another roll of buffs, and 1 v nickel.

Keep up the good work, my friend!

Seems like you're doing really good with the nickels so far this year. That's one of the good things about nickels - they help out a little when the halves aren't producing too well. So u search about a box of nickels a day in addition to all the halves u search? If u continue at that rate by the end of the year u could have about 8 - 9 rolls or so each of silver nickels and buffalos and maybe more V's. That's good hunting. Good luck to u the rest of the year!

I love searching nickels, they take up a lot of space and weigh a lot though! I just dumped 6 bags worth of nickels yesterday ($100 in each), but hey, it's worth it. haha :P

My coin was marked in November, 2013, I hope your boxes can improve, it's been dismal findings for me as well.

BuffaloBoy shows up again lol. Is that '76S the clad proof u found in box #35? And u had a nickel box that was 99% 2013P's and u still found 2 silver? That is amazing and very odd. Good thing u didn't just assume they were all 2013P's and just dump them without searching them lol.

And we're about dead even with our nickel results so far this year except I've searched $100 more than you but we have the same number of finds. Oh and congrats on ending your skunk streak too. Good luck the rest of the month.

Thanks Silver. I honestly almost dumped the whole box of nickels it was that solid of 2013. There were literally only two Enders that were older and I decided to just search them. I was amazed myself that I pulled two silver nickels. It just shows that you never know.

Good luck to all.

Wow, u did have a great week Steve. Those were some great boxes u got with a nice assortment of keepers. And that '69S ender looks like a beauty! You've turned your skunk streak into a silver streak. Hope u can keep it going! Four rolls of 40%, half a roll of 90% including 3 Walkers and a Ben and 11 silver nickels in just seven weeks is great hunting!

Thanks everyone. The lesson is that you never know what the next box will bring. Keep looking and there are some great boxes still out there.
