long day
stared out at a few different places
rained
lost my cheapo knee pads
had to go buy a new set splurged and got a good carpenters pair like them lots
ended up relic hunting at a dump thats an easy hike close to the road nothing stellar
had to go pick up the lady at work at 1 pm
so dropped her off then headed out to"the barber shop"
rain had stopped and sun poped out for a few minutes so i had to make a break for it!!!
this spot has been pretty good for coins (tons of trash)
got there at 2 pm
had 1 hour and 45 minutes to get it dug(had to pick up the kid from work)
at 3.44 i got one more "good signal" at about 3 inchs
it was a little spotty but good 3 ways after X'ing it
dug down hit a 2 inch root right off
pulled out the root saw
the the signal POPED
with a slight broken to the side of it
first this poped out(hence the broken tone)

i was like "OH DRAT"
then these sweeties were laying in the "whole" (hence the solid tone)
then the cell rang and had to go home
talk about at the wire!!!!

That is unbelievable! Great find for sure. You might want to encase the whole thing in a small acrylic display case and label it with the date and the story behind the find.

Congratulations on a truly awesome find..it's very encouraging to know there's still that kind of stuff out there.

That is so cool!! I really like the Indian Head pennies! I've only found one myself, but I was so psyched over it. I've found 3 mercs, 12 wheats, and 1 indian head. They are elusive little buggers around here.

WTG!,

cool find!

it's like a little time capsule you found, the latest date being 1905

looks like some lady lost her change purse back around 1905 - 1907 ? time frame

WTG!! What a find and ya gotta love it!!

I found 13 Indians one time along with 37 wheats, the wheats were all 1917, 1918, 1919, and the Indians were all 1907's. Love it when you find alot of old goodies all together!!
