Went in the woods with my MD buddy, on a friend's property...

You got a lot of lead there... and that Junior Ranger badge is a cool find. Congrats.

[CoilyGirl]

Very cool finds BHG! Are those the first bullets you've found?

[wvwildman]

[Gold Maven]

that badge is sweet.

[bountyhuntergirl86]

Thanks guys, Ive only found 2 CW bullets so this was pretty amazing for me ;-)

[bountyhuntergirl86]

The square piece is copper, made me think it was a buckle any ideas?

[Steve in PA]

Congrats on expanding your CW collection! Keep at it

[CoilyGirl]

Bounty Hunter Girl I don't thing the square thing is a buckle, what does the reverse side look like?Sometimes Confederates had crudely made buckles that weren't government issue but Im just not seeing it. Seriously it could be a sardine tin or other type of food container from that era.

[bountyhuntergirl86]

I ruled that out too just wishful thinking I guess..regardless it was a super exciting hunt :-D

[CoilyGirl]

Maybe one day.

[Fletch88]

Nice finds, nice bullets. I live in the Boro and have hunted a few private yards around the Battlefield. It's amazing how large of an area the battlefield covers. Are you a member of the middle Tennessee metal detecting club. It's a great group of people that love to detect. They have a websites www.mtmdc.com with directions. We meet the first Friday of every month. Happy Hunting!
