Nope was telling you about a local plate you sent me a couple years ago. Now they are saying isolated tornados through out the night. I feel better already. We used to think the mtns blocked those things.

....be safe Tn and everyone down your way...sorry you guys are having to deal with it. :(

Well the whistle was blowing this morning for me but I didnt see any tornado coming. We didnt get much rain either. Is there any place in the USA where there is no bad weather?

TN, it hit us night before last. We got 5" of rain over night, some straight line winds but didn't lose power. We were very lucky.

3 years ago and 2 days ago I got hit by straight winds. Lost many giant oaks and snapped telephone poles. Thought it was over then tornados hit killing hundreds. No power for two weeks. One last night bumped along Lookout mtn and then jumped over me and headed toward East Tn Joe. He was hunkered down. We used to never have weather like this. Flood watch now which is normal living on Tn River.Hopefully everyone stays safe and hunts the artifacts after this wash out.

Geeez... That stuff's crazy I'll take a hurricane any day we know they're coming days in advance and can prepare for them

...hope things have calmed down for you guys weather wise. We've just had some high winds & still no rain...going to be a bad fire season here.

And I thank you for thinking of me and giving me a heads up the other night.…we got down in the basement, but it blew over with no problems…I remember those bad ones 3 years ago and TN is right…his neighborhood looked like a war-zone…you couldn't even drive on the roads for 2 weeks with so many trees and power lines down…the new reality in the south.

My husband was in Mississippi working Monday when over 50 tornados went through. He was supposed to be off work and in his hotel, but he decided to drive to Jackson to get my saddle. Well, his hotel in Tupelo got directly hit by the tornado and where his room was on the 4th floor was gone!! He drove from Jackson back to Tupelo because some of his workers were in the hotel when it hit (they were remarkably uninjured). As he drove I watched the weather channel..he was driving in front of the storm chaser and I was able to see live what my husband was seeing. At one point he drove right into the tornado in Louisville, but by the grace of God he was unscathed. Another point in his 4 hours trek he was heading toward a tornado and I told him he needed to stop. He went into a gas station for a bit..all of a sudden people were yelling to take cover and then my husband lost cell service. I thought the worst had happened!! The tornado didnt touch down, thankfully. Although my husband lost all his belongings in the hotel, he had the most precious thing..life..and he is irreplacable!! He is home now..walking the fields by my side, right where he belongs :)
