Strange Minelab Warranty Email

Yeah, I got one too! . . . registered my Excal last year.

?

non from Minelab, but one from Detector Pro after
I Regestered my Phones.
 

Very Strange.
Was talking to a friend, he got the same email this week...He has bought 2 excalibur II's, both over 3 years ago...Maybe they feel bad about all the issues they have had over time and giving everyone a free year..warranty for :icon_santa:
 

Received email also,Sov GT was bought and registered 1 year ago! :dontknow:
 

got the same email myself..have no clue which machine they are talking about.

no E-mail here but I sent in my Battery that went bad on my Excal 11 and was told they have nothing on my warrantee paperwork that I sent in 2 months earlier, to make a long story short I had to go to my dealer and get a receipt and send back in, they must be trying to get there bookkeeping in order..........
 

An to think I was thinking of getting another Minelab Excal.
 

I recieved one last week, same message, I bought my minelab last Jan 2011.

Got that warranty email too even though my excal is past the 1 year coverage.
 

Could it be notices of warranty Extensions ?

Well i did not get that letter.. But on my answering machine about a month ago............ I got a message saying that they were working on my detector now.......... BUT i do not have any detectors at Minelab for repairs............ The last detector i sent in for repairs was over 2 years ago.......and have had it back for about 2 years...???

I got this reply on DEC 9 2011. But I had just sent in my warranty registration the week before. I hope I did not cause all the other emails to be sent??????

Maybe my registration made them look for more after the move.
