very odd.

I don't think its a parking garage, but an apartment or business from the area. seen it in the morning and got the photos when we went by it again.

It’s an urban art installation but, unless there’s more than one, is that not in Barcelona, Spain, in the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district? Note that there’s an ‘Ariston’ sign hanging from the building. That’s a heating company which has a training centre in that area of the city.

no, not in Spain but in Athens Greece.

seen no other trees like that, but many other interesting sites.

I spoke to a Greek woman friend here about the tree. she said the tree is an olive tree that was growing in the stone. the builders incorporated the stone into the building during construction. Athens, named after the goddess Athena is said to have given the Greeks the olives for protection. The stone was incorporated as a protection for the building.

Thanks for the clarification. When you said "we went by it again" I thought you meant it was in Indiana.

This Facebook post says it’s in Barcelona, but the poster may well have got it wrong, unless there are two such buildings to the same design:

Google AI identifies it as an office & retail building on Kifissias Avenue in Maroussi, Athens, Greece, designed by Potiropoulos+Partners (formerly Potiropoulos D+L Architects). The building includes the headquarters and a showroom for the company Sato S.A., the client for the project, and says it has a large rock and tree sculpture element attached to the façade which is a piece of public art by Greek artist Kostis Georgiou titled "The Rock".
