Hmmm I don't mind scooping a lot because it's a lot easier then digging a plug on land plus I like surprises and if I scoop everything I know I won't miss anything the sea hunter also has great depth you only search 5 beaches in your area holy moly before the bay bridge was built there used to be so many beaches along the bay especaly in our area

PY and I Meet at 8am for the long drive because the tides were way off for the area. .So we headed south to a old beach that was once the Hot spot in the early 1900's, most would either come in by train or steam boat. This was to be the Atlantic city of the Bay....After the work it takes to get to this place, Both of us had a good time and it was a learning experience for both of us... Some fairly cool stuff, the compact still has the red stuff in it, a brass shoe tap, brass ring with a hat, 1910 barber quarter, some mercs...etc..

Five days off from a wrenched wrist, and finally the water has calmed, today it was as smooth as ice...

Old beach from the early 1900's till 1950's, Two Golds, 9CT, and 14k. Plenty of targets in 3 plus hours, just not a lot of silver...

Nice haul, OBN! I'm in OC MD now, and the finds have been pretty meager on the beach. I'm at 45th street.

I'm very surprised! Last two years I had no problem at all finding coins, etc. This year....nothing! Sanded in?

The place was packed this weekend, should had been some good hunting. I hunted sat and sunday and nights.. did fairly well.. 5 golds. 3 silvers

I do have several out from a few years ago.. under joe beechnut on youtube.. the one's of late I have made private not to give away my location..
