Surprised today SILVER excuss me WILVER

[DPBOB]

Got a little surprised today when out detecting. Went out and did a park that is old but I didn't expect to
pull out any silver. What even surprised me more was the fact that the 1918 Merc was only 1.5 inches down.
(just below the grass roots ) Then I wondered around to another area and popped out the 1941 Quarter by a small tree and it was 3 1/2 inches down.. I had no intentions on finding any silver ( wilver ) Thats why I love this hobby....
Just goes to show ya that is out there when you least expect it....These 2 silver ( wilver ) coins take my total to 25 for the year. A lot less then last year....

Also found the worst penny I ever dug Man this thing is beyond being MANGLED .....................

I'm around your wilver count as well and at this time last year was well over 100, I hope to break 50 the way things are going!! Congrats on the two wilver coins!
