Survey: Where did you find your oldest coin?

7th century Byzantine copper coin from a site north of Charleston, SC. The former plantation owner apparently collected coins once upon a lifetime ago.

All my oldest coins were found @ what was a colonial horse race track in Virginia.

off of M .203 west of calumet their was an old town there at one time now they logged in there what a mess.

1776 one reale Patterson Park Baltimore, MD. Not far from the Casino. Kicker is, it was only about an inch or two deep!
 

my oldest is a 1826 large cent, found at a park in central Ohio. this is still on of my most memorable finds..
 

You've heard of a trick question? This is a trick answer...I found it so long ago it had to be old!
 

Around 1995, At an old Homestead in Oconee County, South Carolina, And it was a cut 1795 Spanish 8 Reale.
And after having it looked at decided that it was counterfeit...........................HH
 

My oldest coin came from a park in New Orleans LA. It was a 1797 2 reale Mexico City mint. It was about 8-9 inches deep. I can take you to exactly where I found it too, it seems that I can remember where I found all my old or first finds i.e. first barber first seated etc.
