Spring planting prevented the Tenn. Trio from digging 500 relics total from the Williams Cleaner camp since we started hunting there last December. Today, we returned and hunted the stubble to see if we could hit that milestone and we did so easily.
It didn’t take long to dig from relic #496 to over #500. I dug #496 and forgot to mention in that short video that the dropped Type III Williams Cleaner bullet I dug was my 400[SUP]th[/SUP] CW relic dug in 2014. We had 20 or so relics in 2 hours and Josh had to leave. As mentioned in the video, the humidity was very high this morning.
Doug’s best find was a nice dropped Sharps Carbine bullet and Josh’s teardrop pistol bullet (shown) was the only one any of us have recovered from that site making it his best find. I had 2 Williams Cleaners, a .36 cal. and a .44 cal. pistol bullet but nothing special today.
Stay tuned & thanks for watching from Doug, Josh, & Quindy in Tennessee.
