Which Tesoro is the best for coin hunting the Vaquero or the Golden Max??

if your a park hunter than the golden would be ideal to me the golden is one of the most accurate tone machines i've owned but if your a old home stead hunter go with the vaq and you'l find the deeper stuff and it loves bullets, the golden i had depth wise in my soil in maine was about 7" max but you could tell you had a good target with this for sure!

Ditto. The Golden for parks and trashy public areas, the Vaq for old homes, farms, and private property.

Golden uMax. That's what it was designed for.

I'd only get the Vaquero if you're dealing with highly mineralized soil. Continuously ground balancing that thing would likely get old after awhile.

GBing the vaq is not a big deal really depending on the size of area i was hunting anyways i think there was one place where i had to ground bal 20 to 30 ft span just because the ground underneath a foot was so different in mineralzation that you would have to check often
