I think that I just found a honey hole.

There is a branch 10 min away from my work
that always have halves. The tellers don't care
about silver coins at all. I've been checking it
over 2 years. About 3 months ago I scored 7 CWRs
and 6 of them were solid rolls. From the toning these
rolls were sitting in the basement since the 60's.

Today I scored another 5 rolls with the same type of wrappers
and of course they are all silvers. 11 solid silver rolls so far!
It looks like Grandma is gradually depositing Grandpa's halves.

My main bank actually uses that style wrapper for their cwr half dollar rolls. I love the vintage look. And congrats on the solid rolls!

WOW, I love the solid rolls, I just look at them and laugh to myself. These people have no idea what they are getting rid of. Great rolls!

Stupendous! I wish the tellers around here didn't care bout silver. I have to time it just right to get silver away from my banks tellers. Pretty much my only option is ordering boxes. The chnces of getting any all silver rolls is nil, but I am still above water quite a bit for the year. GL & HH...Brad
