howdy guys Steve and I went to visit warsawdaddy today and we had a great time "daddy" took us to a secret spot he found and I was able to detect for about 2 hours, I had a great time and I found a silver thimble a beat up Indian head penny about $1.50 in clad and a beautiful 1866-S seated half thanks for the spot "daddy" I have no camera at this moment so I cant take pics... it felt so good to be out they had to help me get up from the ground a few times but I sure am glad I went. I wasnt gonna do a post about it but warsawdaddy and steve wanted me to. hh all jd

yeah danimal i was in shock myself Steve had to help me dig it out. it was next to 3 nails and a piece of iron, my sunray probe is the only thing that saved it after I dug the nails I thought it was just junk in the hole and steve went over the hole with his detector a T-2 and he said you missed it by 4 in. to the left and its about 5 in. down. im getting an 82 on my T-2 so its probably a quarter ... so I started a new hole where he said and glass and pottery was in the dirt and I pulled out another nail and I put my probe in the new hole and it went right to 90 VDI and stayed steady and Steve said JD be careful with the digger and the next thing I knew he reached in the hole and pulled out big silver I said sweet is it a walker and he said nope its something better

I was pinpointing pretty bad today.

i found my camera and im charging the battery so i can take pics for you guys..

yeah RR they are great friends warsawdaddy calls me almost every week and Steve is just awsome... Steve has taken me out about 5 times to detect since the accident most of the time I lasted only from 5-20 min. before I had to stop today was the longest i have been abkle to detect and warsaw hooked us up with an unbelievable spot its got to be loaded with goodies...

Hey Bud,I called last night but Mary Ann said you weren't back yet.I was gettin' a little worried but then I realized you guys had not eaten so figured that's what the delay was.Everyone should have seen JD's face when he saw that coin.He said,"It's hard to break a habit!"No,not really,but he was all smiles.I made him check the hole again and right beside it,he pulled a dime out.He's definitely on the mend and we'll have him ready for the Chisholm Hunt.
